FIVE CHILDREN and two adults were admitted to hospital today suffering from smoke inhalation following a house fire in Carmarthenshire, Wales. The incident occurred at around 7.30am when a fire was discovered in the attic of the house at Llwynhendy.
Several units of Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service and three ambulances from the Welsh Ambulance Service responded to the incident. The family were taken to Glangwili Hospital as a precaution at the request of police.
Police and Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service are investigating the cause of the fire.
