The committee of the World Rescue Organisation has announced that this years challenges will not go ahead due to COVID-19.
The World Rescue Challenge (WRC) 2020 was due to take place in Miami have now been moved back a year, to take place on 2nd November 2021.
All subsequent WRC competitions will also be moved back by one year.
- 2021 Miami
- 2022 Luxembourg
- 2023 Spain and
- 2024 Portugal
In a statement, the WRO said ‘we agree with our colleagues in the US that this is the correct action.’
A spokesperson for Rescue Organisation Ireland Tweeted: ‘Sorry to hear but totally understand in these current strange times.’
