A UK based Search & Rescue Helicopter contractor has made a special tribute to its latest helicopter, a Westland Sea King HAS.5 by naming it ‘Dara’, after Captain Dara Fitzpatrick who died in the Rescue116 sea tragedy in March of this year.
Heli Operations, who are operators of military helicopters to the United Kingdom and provide aircrew, equipment and training to military, civilian and coastguard operators around the world are based in Portland, Dorset.
The helicopter, codenamed ZA116 will bear the name Dara on it and the tribute to the late captain has the full support of the Fitzpatrick family.
