Paramedics follows the working lives of the men and women of the National Ambulance Service, as they respond to all types of emergency and non-emergency call outs as part of their working day.
Last year’s series, created by Tile Films became one of the most watched home produced television series on the year.
Paramedics arrives to our screens on TV3 this Wednesday night at 8.30pm. The show is a dramatic and emotive documentary series which provides the viewers with a keen insight into the hectic routine of Ireland’s frontline emergency medical services.
Paramedics reveals the intense and gripping work of the people for whom responding to emergencies is a way of life.
From the emergency call-takers in the National Emergency Operations Centres based in Tallaght and Ballyshannon, to the frontline paramedic crews who face many traumatic cases such as road traffic collisions, cardiac arrests, drug and alcohol overdoses to how saving a person’s life can become an uplifting change to a paramedics day, TV3’s Paramedics will have it all.
This fly-on-the-wall series will bring the viewers on a journey that has previously remained behind the ambulance doors, giving insight to the types of emergencies that paramedics face daily, as well as the paramedics themselves.
