A man is in a critical condition after been shot in the head in Dublin City this evening.
The shooting happened on Bridgefoot Street at 4.10pm. It is understood one gunman was involved.
The injured man has been taken to St James’ Hospital.
Dublin Fire Brigade is also attending a burned out car around the corner from the scene.
Bridgefoot Street is currently closed and gardaí in Kevin Street are appealing for witnesses.
