Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service wish good luck to those competition at this year’s World Police & Fire Games in Fairfax, Virginia, USA.
The Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service participants will be involved in events such as Judo, 10km race, golf and the Dragon Boat race. The team will be hoping this year’s games will replicate the hugely successful World Police & Fire Games held in Belfast in 2013 which hosted 67 different countries from around the world.
Interim Chief Fire Officer Dale Ashford said: “I would like to wish all of the competitors, especially those representing Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service the very best of luck as they compete in the Fairfax 2015 Games. The legacy of the 2013 event held in Belfast still remains and I hope this year’s games are as enjoyable and rewarding for all those taking part.”
