Minister for Defence, Simon Coveney TD has received a briefing from the Defence Forces Joint Task Force on their ongoing efforts to support the Health Service Executive during the Covid-19 crisis.
Minister Coveney was met with Chief of Staff Vice Admiral Mark Mellett and other senior defence force officers.
In a tweet, the Chief of Staff wrote ‘Always proud of the service of our men and women protecting the most vulnerable wherever they deploy.’
