The Irish Red Cross has said its not providing any test for CIVID-19 so far but volunteers will support the national ambulance service this week.
Volunteers will be required to carry their official IRC ID cards during voluntary support operations.
Irish Red Cross said it is following national advice and guidance in relation to COVID-19 and have advised people to visit the HSE website for current information on the ongoing situation.
Red Cross volunteers have been supporting their local communities throughout the country over the past week.
