A Garda motorcycle was involved in a collision yesterday between it and a car on the outskirts of Carlow town yesterday.
The incident happened at around 12.30pm on the R726, Carlow to Hacketstown road at Ballynakillbeg.

Traffic on the road was disrupted for a time while gardaí had the vehicles removed from the scene.
