A large gorse fire has occurred in Baile na hAbhann in County Galway yesterday. A number of units of Galway Fire Service have been battling the fires since yesterday evening and overnight.
Firefighters prevented the fires from spreading t homes or property. A fire crew from Galway’s Carraroe fire station remained at the scene until approximately 8am.
