Three adults and five children were rescued by Dublin Fire Brigade following a fire at a building in Dublin’s south inner city overnight. The fire which occurred shortly after 3am happened at Thomas Court.
Fire-fighters rescued one adult and two children from a second floor room with the aid of a ladder. The eight people were taken to James Hospital and Tallaght Hospital suffering from smoke inhalation.
Dublin Fire Brigade said the fire was extinguished at around 5am.
