Civil Defence volunteers in Cork West will be mobilised from tomorrow, Thursday to assist emergency and medical frontline services during the COVID-19 crisis.
Preparations were being put in place at Cork West Civil Defence Headquarters this morning for the coming days and weeks ahead.
The public are being advised to continue following the guidelines set down by the Government, Chief Medical Officer and the HSE.
People are also being told not to contact the Civil Defence directly as all taskings are coming through the National Emergency Desk.
