A multi-agency search for a missing Dublin woman has ended following the recovery of a body from the water at the west pier, in the area of the search. Gardai and dozens of Search & Rescue volunteers were involved in the search for 38 year old Catherine O’Reilly , who was last seen on Thursday evening last near the Merrywell Industrial estate, Dublin.
The Irish Coast Guard, RNLI Lifeboat and Civil Defence volunteers searched land and water for the missing Dublin woman. The K-9 unit from Laois Civil Defence was also involved in yesterdays search following a request for assistance from Dublin Civil Defence.
